The average weight of a 34" BITE Jawbone is ard. 3,9 kg (8.6 lbs), a 34" Punch typically comes in at ard. 3,7 kg (8.2 lbs). 30" short scale will reduce the bass weight by ard. 300 gr (0.7 lbs). A parcel containing one BITE bass will typically weigh ard. 5,4 kg (12 lbs). Standard shipping box dimensions (without bass case): 119 x 38 x 10 cm. Note that bass weights always vary within a certain range due to individual grain structures, pickup and hardware features.Â

by Countries Outside the EU
Our standard VAT (value added tax) rate for sales within the European Union Customs Union (EUCU) is 20%. Deviating rates may apply to selected EU countries. If your delivery destination is outside the EUCU, your VAT rate will be 0%, this means we can sell to you cheaper.
Displayed prices: You may or may not see our configurator or shop prices with or without VAT. This geo-functionality is sometimes locally blocked or depending on your browser cache and settings. Anyway, as soon as you insert your full address in the checkout, you will see your purchase price correctly adjusted for VAT and shipping costs before you hit the BUY NOW button.
Import charges: Customs tariffs, import VAT or other duties may apply depending on your country of import. Such additional charges will not be paid or collected by BITE Guitars. Billing and collection procedures vary from country to country, in many cases you will be asked by the courier service to reimburse them for such expenses which they incurred on your behalf. Â
To give you a rough idea, here is an incomplete list of import charges based on sporadic feedback from customers. If your country's import charges happen to be 20%, you're at par with EU prices. If they are way below, such as in the USA, count yourself lucky. We assume no responsibility for the correctness of this information. The exact percentage taxed may vary from case to case, as for example shipping costs may or may not be included into the taxable base by customs authorities.
