Easy Cancellation Instructions
A) Send us an e-mail to hello@bite.guitars saying you wish to return your bass (cancellation notice). We don't ask you for a reason but kindly make sure we get the complete picture (use the cancellation form below or just reply to our initial receipt confirmation which includes your order details)
B) Wrap the bass up in its original foam sheet (mind the folded ends for shock absorption) and inner and outer cardboard boxes.
C.a) EU CUSTOMERS who bought a READY-MADE BASS: we refund 100% of your bass price + outgoing shipping costs. We will not charge any handling fee. You kindly arrange for trackable return shipping to BITE Guitars, Liebermannstr. A01/118/120, 2345 Brunn/Gebirge, Austria at your own cost and risk. Any other address is unsuitable for package recipience and return shipments will not be accepted.
C.b) EU CUSTOMERS who bought a CONFIGURATOR BASS: we refund 100% of your bass price less upcharges for body art, custom printed pickguard and custom engraved neck plate. We will not charge any handling fee. You kindly arrange for trackable return shipping to BITE Guitars, Liebermannstr. A01/118/120, 2345 Brunn/Gebirge, Austria at your own cost and risk. Any other address is unsuitable for package recipience and return shipments will not be accepted.
C.c) NON-EU CUSTOMERS who bought a READY-MADE BASS: we refund 100% of your bass price less return customs and import charges. We will not charge any handling fee. You kindly arrange for trackable return shipping to BITE Guitars, Liebermannstr. A01/118/120, 2345 Brunn/Gebirge, Austria at your own cost and risk. Any other address is unsuitable for package recipience and return shipments will not be accepted.
C.d) NON-EU CUSTOMERS who bought a CONFIGURATOR BASS: we refund 100% of your bass price less upcharges for body art, custom printed pickguard and custom engraved neck plate less return customs and import charges. D) Post the parcel within 14 days after your cancellation notice. The bass will be considered returned after it has safely reached us and passed our damage inspection.
E) You will be refunded via the same payment method that you used when making the purchase.
F) Any other category of basses, such as BELLS & WHISTLES, MORE OPTIONS, PROFORMA INVOICE, OFF-CONFIGURATOR, PREMIUM BUILDS and REBUILD PROPOSALS, as well as discounted basses, are not subject to these Easy Cancellation Instructions but considered Goods made or modified according to Customer specifications according to the General Cancellation Right below. In the event of promotional free shipping, regular shipping rates shall be used for cancellation calculations.
To the extent that this voluntary return policy exceeds the general cancellation right, it is limited to one bass at the time per customer.

General Cancellation Right
1. Consumers resident in the EU are entitled to a cancellation right of contracts, if such contracts come about exclusively through means of telecommunication. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day the Customer or his substitute recipient receives the Goods. In order to exercise his cancellation right, the Customer shall explicitly inform the Manufacturer by e-mail to hello@bite.guitars about his decision to revoke the contract, giving all the information as specified in the below cancellation form.
2. In case of a cancellation the Customer shall resend the Goods to the Manufacturer at BITE Guitars, Liebermannstr. A01/118/120, 2345 Brunn/Gebirge, Austria within fourteen days from the day of the declaration of cancellation. Any other address is unsuitable for package recipience and return shipments will not be accepted. The Manufacturer shall incur the cost of the return shipment only if the Customer uses the prepaid package label provided by the Manufacturer. The Customer shall incur any decrease in value of the goods only if such decrease is owed to treating the Goods in a way not necessary for inspecting the state, properties and functioning of the Goods. Such acceptable inspecting shall not include disassembling and reassembling, drilling of holes or other alterations. The Customer is asked to resend the goods in their original state and packaging including all packaging components in order to avoid damage claims concerning shipping damages due to inadequate packaging.
3. However, the consumer has no such cancellation right in cases of Goods made or modified according to Customer specifications.
